About Us

Our Story

Restoration Connection Worship Ministry was founded in 2024 by Pastor Shontis Douglas with a clear and powerful vision from God: to create a place of healing, worship, and deep connection for those seeking restoration in Christ. What began as a small gathering of believers has grown into a vibrant, spirit-led ministry impacting lives both locally and online.

Our foundation is built on prayer, authentic worship, and unwavering faith in God’s Word. We believe the church is more than a building—it’s a living, breathing body of believers walking together in love and purpose.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Savior, and Lord.

  • Salvation is by grace through faith alone.

  • The Holy Spirit empowers, equips, and dwells within every believer.

  • Prayer is essential for spiritual growth and divine guidance.

  • The Church is called to love, serve, and reach the world with the Gospel.

Testimonial

I have several testimonies, but this one in particular is about how I moved to Atlanta from the DMV. I was living in the DMV. My husband had died a couple of years prior, and I started back gambling. My gambling quickly turned out of control. I was lost, hurt, homeless, and desperate for God to deliver me. He told me to move to Atlanta, I had no money saved, and the money I made a month before I moved, I gambled it all. I was able to make $350.00 before I was due to drive to Atlanta. My car was old, it needed brakes, tires, and an oil change. God allowed me and my son to make it safely. We slept in the car, we rented motel rooms, and within 2 months, I got approved for an apartment. On the day we were due to get our keys, the manager denied my application. She stated that the young lady didn't do my finances right, and I didn't qualify. Not even two weeks later, I met a man who rented me his five-bedroom, three full baths, two-car garage home for the same price as the apartment. It's been almost two years since I've gambled, and I only work two days a month. I don't get any government assistance, and yet God supplies all of our needs and wants. He told me to stop chasing money, people, and things and focus on Him. That's what I do now, I started this church, and I teach and preach everything He has poured into me.
